A Moment in Nature
Nature has a way of surprising me with color combinations I never would have dreamed of —she layers them together, creating blends that are bold, unexpected, and somehow always harmonious. Sometimes the most unexpected pairings—bright next to deep, soft beside bold—turn out to be the most beautiful. That’s what inspires me most as an artist. So, for me, each piece of jewelry is more than just leather and beads and thread; it’s a memory of that moment in nature, captured and reimaged into something wearable. This is why I often turn to nature photos for inspiration in my bracelet designs.
Photo of Inspiration

One evening, I came across a photo of flowers bursting with bright oranges, deep purples, and vibrant pinks. The petals seemed to glow with energy, each shade enhancing the next.
The mix of colors felt joyful and alive, like a celebration happening in nature’s own garden. I knew instantly I wanted to capture that vibrancy in a bracelet.
Gathering the Palette
Back in my craft room, I started pulling beads that reflected those bold petals. I laid out rich orange Czech glass beads, paired them with deep purples for contrast, and added pops of vibrant pink to echo the playful tones in the photo.
Every bead choice became a translation of the photo—like carrying a bouquet of flowers into wearable art.

From Petal to Bracelet
After hours of weaving and balancing the colors, the bracelet came together.

Placed side by side with the flower photo, you can see how the bracelet mirrors the blossoms’ vibrant palette.

Why It Matters
This design reminds me that inspiration is always around us—it can be as simple as noticing the colors of a flower and imagining how they might live on in another form. For me, that transformation is what makes creating jewelry so rewarding.
